2 C. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 C. shortening
1 C. white sugar
1 C. brown sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
Choose Either:
2 C. Oatmeal
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg chocolate chips
1/2 C. chopped nuts
OR
1 C. Coconut
1 C. Rice Crispies
1 C. Corn Flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Set aside. Cream sugars, shortening, and eggs, then add dry ingredients. Then add either 2 C. oatmeal, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 pkg. chocolate chips, 1/2 C. chopped nuts, OR Add 1 C. coconut, 1 C. rice krispies, and 1 C. corn flakes. Bake at 400ºF for 15 minutes.
