1/2 cup softened butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup (2 medium) mashed ripe bananas
1/4 cup butter milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cups chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1. Grease 9x5 loaf pan or spray with non stick spray
2. Beat butter and sugar until crumbly
3. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each
4. Beat in bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla
5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
6. Stir into creamed mixture
7. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts
8. Put into loaf pan
9. Bake at 350* for 60-65 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes before moving to baking rack
