1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking soda (fresh is better)
1 large egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

In a small bowl, combine sugar and baking soda with a wooden spoon. Add egg and peanut butter. Add chocolate chips.

On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by slightly rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart. Do not flatten.

Bake 9 minutes or until puffed and golden. Cookies will be very soft. Let cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet then transfer to a cooling rack.
