1 tbsp. canola oil
1 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. rosemary
1 tsp. thyme
4 c. peeled and cubed squash
2 c. chopped tart apples
4 c. chicken broth
Black pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot saute onion in oil until tender. Add rosemary, thyme, squash and apples. Pour in broth.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until tender.

Puree the mixture in a blender or food processor and return to pot to heat through.
