1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
4 c. Flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. slivered almonds
Dash salt
cinnamon sugar sprinkle

Directions:
Directions:
Beat oil, eggs, and sugar. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. After ingredients are blended, add the extract and the almonds. Mixture will get hard.
Lightly grease cookie sheet.
Divide dough into 4 sections. Form into logs. (For smaller pieces, make 5 logs). Sprinkle logs lightly with cinnamon sugar.
Bake at 350º for 20 min. Remove from oven and slice each roll in 1" increments. Reduce oven to 300º and continue baking for 20 min.
Alternate ingredients. Switch almond extract with vanilla and the slivered almonds with 1 c. of mini-chocolate chips.
