2 pounds round steak
2 T. Flour
2 tsp. salt
2 T. Oil
2 c. (1 lb. can) tomatoes
3 carrots sliced
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and salt. Lay meat on cutting board, sprinkle with half of flour mixture. With rim of Saucer pound in mixture. Turn meat, repeat. Use all of the flour. Brown meat well on both sides in oil in a Dutch oven or heavy skillet on medium heat for 15 minutes. Add rest of ingredients, simmer covered for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
