1 Pet-Ritz Pie Shell (deep dish)
1 qt Fresh Strawberries (washed, hulled and cut up)
(reserve a few berries for garnish)
1 cup Sugar
3 tbsp Corn Starch
1 cup Water
Red Food Coloring
1 cup Whipping Cream
Directions:
Directions:
Bake and cool pie shell
Mix sugar and corn starch in 2 qt saucepan, gradually stir in water until smooth.
Add 1 c of the cut up berries.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear, stir in a few drops of food coloring.
Cool slightly.
Stir in remaining cut up berries.
Pour into pie shell.
Chill until firm (about 3 hours).
Top with whipped and sweetened cream.
Slice remaining berries and garnish.
