1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 large egg
2 to 2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar
Blend in egg
Sift flour, baking powder, salt into mixture
Add vanilla and mix.
Preheat oven to 375º
Dough will be crumbly - use hands and form ball (if dough is too sticky, place in the refrigerator for one hour)
Roll on floured surface to approx. 1/8" thick
Cut with cookie cutter(s)
Transfer to non-stick cookie sheet approx. 1/2" apart
Bake 8-10 minutes.
