"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250ºF.

Mix salt, flour and water together until a dough is formed.

Knead dough on a floured surface until the mixture is elastic and smooth. If dough is too sticky sprinkle with flour and mix until stickiness is gone. Do not add too much flour or the dough will dry out and crack.

Roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thick with a floured rolling pin.

Use cookie cutters to cut our shapes.

Use a toothpick to make a hole toward the top of each shape to add ribbon or string to later for hanging.

Place all shaped onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 2 hours.

Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

Paint, glitter and decorate as desired and display.
