1 C & 3 T butter or margarine
3/4 C baking cocoa
4 eggs
2 C. sugar
1 1/2 C Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
FROSTING:
6 T butter or margarine softened
2-2/3 sugar
1/2 C baking cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 to 1/3 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan melt butter. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa; cool. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar. Combine flour, baking powder & sift; gradually add to egg mixture; mix well. Spread into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 25-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (do not over bake). Cool on wire rack. For frosting: cream butter, sugar, cocoa & vanilla. Add enough milk until the frosting achieves spreading consistency. Spread over brownies. Makes 2 dozen.
