1/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
2 c flour
1 c milk
3 t baking powder\1/2 t salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream the shortening and sugar, add the well beaten egg and the flavoring. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder, and add alternately with the milk to the shortening and sugar. Bake in well greased layer pan.
