2 c. and 2 T. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening or butter
Directions:
Directions:
Let all ingredients come to room temperature
Combine flour, tartar, soda and salt, set aside.
Blend sugars, butter, shortening and vanilla.
Add egg and beat until smooth, and slowly add flour mixture.
Shape into 1" balls and roll in granulated sugar, do not flatten.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375º for 8-10 min.
