2 pkgs. yeast
1/4 warm water
2 2/3 cups warm water
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp salt
3 tbsp shortening or butter
9 to 10 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast and 1/4 cup warm water for five minutes: Mix 2 2/3 cup warm water, sugar, salt, shortening and flour.Let raise until double, beat down then let raise again... When raised, put in hot oil until golden brown for fried bread or loaf pans for bread.
