1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1- 3 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350; you will bake cookies for 10-12 minutes or until cookies lightly brown around the edges.

These are easy to make if you use a food processor. Cream together butter & cream cheese and gradually add sugar until mixture is light & fluffy. Add flour, beat well, and stir in pecans.Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Using heel of palm, gently flatten each cookie.

Bake and cool 2-3 minutes on cookie sheet before removing.

Tip: I find if you handle the dough too much the cookies spread too thin. If you make a double batch chill dough in freezer while one cookie sheet is in the oven.
