1 package of mild Italian sausage (normally six sausages)
1 medium size green pepper
1 medium size white onion
1 small box penne pasta
1 medium jar of spaghetti sauce (such as Bertoli with garlic)
1 can of chopped tomatoes with Italian seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Remove the skin of the sausages and cut into 1 inch size pieces. Put sausage into large non-stick skillet which contains about a ½ cut of olive oil. Brown sausage pieces slowly. Add strips of green pepper, onions and cook with the sausage. Add as much Italian seasoning as you prefer – garlic, oregano, parsley, salt and pepper. After meat mixture is browned, add the tomato sauce
and the chopped tomatoes Cook pasta as directed on box.
Add pasta to tomato mixture. Cover and cook slowly for about 15 minutes with lid on skillet. Serve with Parmesan cheese on top. Italian bread is good to serve with this dish.

This recipe can be prepared in a small amount of for a large crowd. You can enlarge the amounts needed very easily with added sausage, pepper, onions and pasta.
