Garlic
Pickling spices
Dried red chili peppers

Directions:
Directions:
In a 1 litre jar:

Add:
1 tablespoon of pickling salt
1 1/2 teaspoons of pickling spice
Small piece of dry red chili pepper
3-4 cloves of garlic (I use 3)
1 large dill flower with a bit of the stem

Add:
Small pickling dills to the jar and add cold tap water to fill the jar within 1/2 from the top of the jar.
Tighten the lid and shake the jar.
Leave at room temperature for a week (tip the jars each day).
After one week, put the jars in a cool dark place (I put mine in the fridge)
They should be ready to eat in 3-4 weeks.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Make sure you thoroughly wash the dills before you begin. I cut off the stems. If you use any damaged or squishy cukes, the whole jar may go soft so try to choose fresh firm veggies for this.
