2 sticks butter
2 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cram butter and syrup. Add remaining ingredients until well blended. Roll in 2 " balls and place on a well greased baking sheet. Bake at 325º for 15 minutes. Cookies will spread apart while baking. Be careful not to over bake (use a stoneware cookie sheet if available because this prevents the bottoms from burning.) Cool on wire rack and store in air tight container.
