1/2 C warm water
2 pkg active dry yeast
1 3/4 C warm milk
1/4 C packed brown sugar
1 T salt
3 T butter
5-6 C unsifted flour
1 C rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Measure warm water into large warmed bowl. Dissolve yeast in water. Add milk, sugar, salt, butter. Add 2 C flour. Beat with rotary beater until smooth. Add 1 C flour and oats. Beat with a wooden spoon until smooth. Add flour to make soft dough. Knead on lightly floured board 8-10 minutes. Cover with plastic and towel. Let rest 20 minutes. Divide dough in half. Shape loaves. Place in greased loaf pans. Brush with oil. Cover pans loosely with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 2-24 hours. To bake, set at room temperature for 10 minutes, uncovered. Puncture any gas bubbles. Bake at 400 for 30-40 minutes.
