8 Slices French bread – cubed
¾ lb medium cheddar cheese
1 small onion chopped
3 eggs slightly beaten
2 ½ cups milk
½ tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp paprika
½ tsp worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
7X11 dish or large pyrex for double recipe. Grease dish, layer bread cubes, cheese, & onion. Repeat layers. In bowl, beat eggs, milk and all spices. Beat well and pour over layers of bread, cheese and onion. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. (May be done 2 days ahead) Remove casserole from fridge 1 hour before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, stirring once after ½ hour.

The first time I had this was in California at Aunt Jo's when she had the pastor over for lunch to finalize our wedding plans. It's my all time favorite breakfast casserole dish!
