1/2 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
3/4 c. sifted flour
1 t. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg. Beat until light. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Drop by scant teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in 400º oven for about 5 minutes. Cool. Remove to wire racks.
