1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs, well beaten
1 ½ cups milk
1 onion, chopped
Hot salad oil
Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients; add eggs and milk, stirring well. Add onion and blend (mixture will be thick). Dip a large spoon into hot oil, then into batter for each hush puppy; drop by spoonfuls into hot oil. Cook until golden brown on both sides; drain well on paper towels. Yield: 3 to 4 dozen
