Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups crushed strawberries (1 qt. fully ripe strawberries)
4 cups sugar, measured into separate bowl
3/4 cup water
1 pkg. SURE-JELL Fruit Pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse small Kerr jars and lids with boiling water. Dry thoroughly. Clean berries and discard stems. Crush strawberries thoroughly, 1 cup at a time. I use a pastry blender or potato masher. Measure exactly 2 cups prepared fruit into large bowl. Stir in sugar. Let stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix water and pectin in small saucepan. Bring to boil on high heat, stirring constantly. Continue to boil and stir for 1 minute. Add to fruit mixture and stir 3 minutes or until most of the sugar is dissolved. (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
Fill jars immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops. Wipe off top edges of jars and immediately cover with lids. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Jam is now ready to use. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or in freezer up to 1 year. (If frozen, thaw in refrigerator before using.) Enjoy!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Our family is hooked on G'ma's jam...store bought jam does not compare! Rita got me started berry picking years ago and there is no doubt that strawberries picked fresh from the field are the best!
