1 cup packed soft breadcrumbs
1/2 cup of butter
4 eggs
1/4 tsp mace, allspice, & nutmeg
1/2 tsp pepper
1tsp salt
1 cup dry breadcrumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Brown soft breadcrumbs in butter and let cool. Mix together next 6 ingredients. Add approx 1 cup dry breadcrumbs until you can form into balls. Drop into boiling soup. Balls will float when they are done.

(can also be frozen and dropped into soup in a frozen state)
