2 eggs, beaten
2 c oats
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
1 c onion, chopped
1/2 t garlic powder
2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
3 lbs hamburger, lean

SAUCE:
2 c catsup
1 1/2 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c onion, chopped
1/2 t garlic powder
1-2 t liquid smoke

Directions:

To beaten eggs add oats, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add hamburger and mix well. Shape into 1 1/2" balls. Place in two 13x9x2" baking pans. Bake uncovered at 375º for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and drain. Place meatballs in one pan. Meanwhile, in saucepan bring sauce ingredients to a boil. Pour over cooked meatballs. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

I use less garlic powder and onion. You can also omit liquid smoke in sauce if desired.
