Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
As a gift for my 16th birthday, my parents and Aunt Shulamith treated me to a night on the town. We went to see a performance of my favorite musical, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying", preceded by dinner at the Mayfair Hotel, a St. Louis landmark. Because the hotel was famous for its salad dressing, the waitress was beyond incredulous when I opted for undressed salad, probably the only patron ever to do so.

However, with age comes wisdom, at least with respect to some things, and I have since discovered that the teenage me foolishly missed my first chance to taste this wonderful salad dressing. Although I only appreciated it later, I have enjoyed it many times since. Truly delicious!
