Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers (or wafer thin chocolate cookies)
Whipped Cream or Ice Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Take 1 can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (I use the low fat) and place it on its SIDE in a large stew pan. Cover the can with water and boil for 2-3 hours. Always keep water above the can. The longer you cook it the darker caramel appears but that does not hurt the milk.

After cooking time, remove the can and let it cool.

Spread the milk on wafer thin chocolate cookies and stack 4. You will have Eagle Brand Milk left over. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator for another time.

Cover the stacked cookies and keep in refrigerator. Top each stack with whipped cream or ice cream (or both) before serving.

*If you try to boil the can sitting upright it could explode so make sure the can is turned on its side when boiling.
