4 - 5 cans of French cut green beans, drained
2 T butter
2 T flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 T (or more) sugar
1 T chopped onion (OK to use dried onions)
1 pint sour cream
Durkee's Fried Onions, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Be sure that beans are very well drained. Place in 2 quart casserole. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, salt and pepper. Mix in sour cream, 1 T dried onions and sugar. Cook till mixture has thickened being careful because it burns easily. Pour over beans and mix till beans are coated. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 400º. During the last 10 minutes of cooking top with crushed Durkee's fried onions.
