3 eggs
1 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. each: baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. prunes
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook prunes. Cool, seed and cut into small pieces. Mix all ingredients, adding pecans and prunes last. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes, or until done when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. This will take a big pan.

While the cake is still hot, pour this glaze over the top:

1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and baking soda together. Melt butter. Then add to sugar mixture. Add buttermilk slowly. Bring to a boil for one minute. Pour over hot cake.
