1 lb. ham slice
1/3 c. oil
1 1/4 c. black coffee or water
pepper
Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Fry ham in skillet with 1/3 c. oil, browning on both sides; remove ham and retain juices. Deglaze skillet with coffee or water, scraping all drippings from bottom of pan. Boil 2-3 minutes, reducing by half. Season with pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Serve with ham and biscuits. (This also works with juices from a baked ham.)
