2 1/2 cups warm water
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp dry yeast
1 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
5 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Add salt, oil, and 3 cups of flour. Mix with a wooden spoon. Add another 2 1/2 cups flour and mix well. Leave the wooden spoon in the bowl and cover with a dish towel. Let rise for 10 minutes, then push the dough down. Let rise for 10 minutes again. Repeat 4 times. Place dough on a flat surface and roll out. Roll up into a loaf and pinch ends closed. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Cut slashes across the top and bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.
