1 cube of butter ( use only real butter)

2 cups finely dried bread crumbs (not toasted ) lay out about 10 peace's of bread for a day to dry out, put them in a blender to make crumbs.

1/2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 quart apple sauce

Directions:
Directions:
melt butter in a frying pan, ( don't Brown it ) then
add sugar, cinnamon, bread crumbs, and gently stir to brown it

put a layer of bread crumbs, then a layer of apple sauce, then another layer of bread crumbs and then a layer of apple sauce, keep doing this until it is all use up.
chill in refrigerator over night.

Serve in a small dish topped with real whipped cream and a maraschino cherry on top
