Directions:
Mix Potatoes, flour, egg and salt.Form into a ball. You will probably have to add more handfuls of flour until the mixture isn't sticky. Then, roll out with your hands in a long roll on your floured surface.Cut with a knife every 1 inch or the size you want your dumplings. I take 1 large can of Frank's Kraut and 1 small can Bavarian Kraut.Drain off some of the Kraut liquid,Place in big pot and add some water,3/4 to 1 stick of margarine. You can dice up some onions at this point to.Let that cook first.Add brown sugar to taste and if you like add caraway seed. When your liquid is hot, drop your dumplings in the pot and cover.Do not open the lid for 20 minutes and then you are ready to eat.Margie normally makes this with a pork roast, but you can make them just by themselves.
