Thick cut bacon
Brown sugar
Cayenne pepper/chile powder (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°.
Arrange bacon on a flat baking sheet.
Sprinkle a small amount of brown sugar on each slice of bacon.
Bake for about 20 minutes until the bacon is done. Allow to cool on a paper towel to remove excess bacon grease.
Optional: For a hint of heat, add a dash of chile powder or cayenne to the brown sugar before you sprinkle it on the bacon.
