2 scoops vanilla ice cream
16 oz. root beer

Directions:
Directions:
Put 4 oz. of root beer in a large glass; add the 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and let the carbonation settle down and then slowly add the rootbeer until the glass is full.

Tip: Wet the glass and put in the freezer for 30 minutes before making the float. Be sure the root beer is ice cold before using.

Gram Raymond's father, Frank Higgins, was famous for the root beer that he made at 2501 Wallace Steet in Chicago in the early 1900's....and later sold his recipe to the Hires Root Beer Company. Gram Raymond made the best root beer floats!
