3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
package of Hershey kisses
Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening and sugars in mixer. Add in eggs. Add in flour, baking powder, and salt mixture. Add in vanilla and mix to complete dough. Break off teaspoonful size pieces of mixture and wrap around a kiss. Use the remainder of the dough to wrap around kisses.

Bake on greased cookie sheet at 325º for 10-15 minutes.
