2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1 can large buttermilk biscuits

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 2 inches oil (peanut oil is recommended) in a large pot or Dutch oven to 350º. Stir together the ground cinnamon and sugar and set aside. Quarter each biscuit. Fry them, a few at a time, in the hot oil until golden brown. Carefully turn them with tongs and fry the other side. This does not take long. Drain on paper towels and then roll in the cinnamon sugar while still warm.
