8 slices bread
1/4 lb American Cheese
6 T butter
4 eggs
very little salt and pepper
1/2 t dry mustard
1/2 to 1 1/2 lb diced ham
1/4 lb Old English Cheese
3 C milk
dash Tabasco, 1 T Worchestershire sauce

Grease 8 x 12 oblong pan. Break 4 pieces of bread into pieces and layer across bottom of pan. Take 1/2 of each kind of cheese & break into pieces & layer over the bread. Take ham and break up in little pieces and sprinkle over the cheese. Take 4 pieces of bread and break into pieces and sprinkle over ham. Add the rest of the cheese. Melt butter and pour over mixture. Beat eggs and add seasonings. Mix together. Pour over layers of casserole. Refrigerate at least 1 day. Put foil over top and bake 30 minutes at 350º. Remove foil and bake 30 minutes longer or until golden brown on top. Set aside 5 minutes before serving..
