1 cup cracker crumbs, finely crushed
5 tablespoons butter, melted
8 slices bacon
1 cup green onions, chopped
8 ounces Swiss cheese, grated
4 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup sharp American cheese, grated

Directions:

Combine cracker crumbs and butter. Press into bottom and sides of a 10 inch or larger pie plate or casserole dish.

Cook bacon until slightly crisp, drain and crumble. Pour off all but 2 ounces of bacon drippings. Add onion to drippings and saute. Combine crumbled bacon, onion, Swiss cheese, eggs, sour cream, salt and pepper. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with American cheese. Bake at 375ºF for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted off-center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
