1 cup raisins (boiled 20 minutes in 3 cups water)
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
Add raisins drained (save water)
1 cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Add i cup raisin liquid
1 tsp soda
1 more cup flour
