1 cup flour
½ tsp salt
3 Tbsp cocoa
½ cup milk
½ cup nuts
2 tsp. baking powder
½ cup sugar
2 Tbsp salad oil or melted shortening
¾ cups lt. brown sugar
¼ cup cocoa
2 cups hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar; 3 T cocoa and mix – add vanilla to milk, then add Salad oil or shortening and nuts to dry ingredients. Mix well – turn into pan – mix brown sugar and ¼ cup cocoa, sprinkle over batter – pour hot water over it all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
