Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Can tomato puree
1 Can tomato paste
1 small onion, minced
chili powder to taste
1 lb. hamburger meat {low fat content}

Directions:
Directions:
Cook hamburger meat in skillet until no longer pink. Add onion and cook until onion is transparent then add tomato puree and paste. Add chili powder to your taste. May have to add small amount of water to thin. At this point either transfer chili to large pot or crock pot and cook for several hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Great hot dog chili.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mama always made a great big batch of this and froze it in small containers. Is also a great base for chili beans. If you like heat you could use hot sauce, red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to you own liking
