Garlic Powder
Black Pepper
Johnny Season Salt
Onion Powder
Fresh Rosemary
1 box of Kosher Salt
1/2 cup of water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Rub olive oil on prime rib. Use garlic and onion powder, black pepper, and seasoning salt to make a rub. Rub over entire prime rib. Partially cut of fat and place rosemary under the fat.
Mix salt and water. Cover bottom of pan and whole roast with mixture. It will make a hard coat.
Cook for 1 hour. Turn off oven. Do NOT open the oven door.
Leave in oven for: 30 minutes more for rare
45 minutes more for medium
60 minutes more for well done.
Roast should be at least 140-150º

It's hard to believe that this works, but it does. Be sure to use a meat thermometer to verify that the roast is done.
