Directions:
Take 6 large Granny Smith apples and pare them. Add 1 1/2 cups of sugar and about 2-3 tbsp. of cinnamon and mix thoroughly.

Crust: 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of Crisco, 1/4 tsp. salt and use pastry blender to mix into small beads. Add 4-5 tbsp. ICE cold water and mix until it forms a ball. Don't over mix.
Split in 2 for top and bottom crust. Roll out to at least a 9 in circle. Roll it over your rolling pin and place on bottom of pie plate. Add the apples and put a few pats of butter on top. Do the same with the top crust and put some slits in the top. Sprinkle some sugar on the top of the crust. Bake at 375 degrees for an hour and a half. Keep an eye on it and put aluminum foil under it so you don't start a fire!
