1 whole fryer
salted water to cover fryer
2 cups chopped onions
9 green onions, sliced
2 cups sliced celery
2 cup chopped bell pepper
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup parsley
2 packages frozen okra
Cajun seasoning to taste
1 (28oz) can tomatoes
salt & pepper to taste
Worcestershire sauce to taste
dash of red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Boil fryer in salted water until tender. Cool and remove from bone. Shred.
Fry both onions until clear. Add celery, bell pepper, garlic and parsley. Add okra and cook until all slime disappears
Add Cajun seasoning to chicken broth. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and red pepper. Add chicken.
Simmer slowly over low heat for 3-4 hours. Ad shrimp 30 minutes before serving.
Serve over rice
