Pole Beans... clean and snapped
1 onion
3-4 slices of Bacon or Salt Pork, chopped
1T. Sugar
2-3T. of Bacon Drippings
Salt & Pepper to taste
Water
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan, add water until the beans are covered. Simmer on stove at medium heat till beans are tender. About 2 hours.
