1 pkg (18 ounce) German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup evaporated milk, divided
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 bag (14 ounce) caramels (unwrapped!)
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray a 9X13 pan with PAM baking spray
Stir together the cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk
Press half of this mixture into the bottom of baking pan
Bake for 6 minutes
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts
Combine the caramels and remaining 1/3 cup evaporated milk in a saucepan
Heat slowly over medium heat until melted
Pour caramel mixture over the cake
Crumble the remaining cake batter over the top
Bake 20 minutes
Cool and cut into bars
