3 eggs
2/3 cup of sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
1 cup pecan halves
1 9 inch unbaked pastry shell

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt, corn syrup, and melted butter - add pecans.
Pour into the unbaked shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between outside and center of filling comes out clean

I found this recipe 30 years ago on a post card in Florida. The card stated that one of Florida's outstanding "mouth-watering' desserts is PECAN PIE
