3/4 cup Butter at room temperature
1 pkg. of Fudge Brownie Mix (discard flavor pkt. if included)
1 Egg
1t. Vanilla
1/2t. almond extract (optional, but I use)
1/2c+2T. Flour
48 Hershey Hugs

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl with mixer on medium beat butter until smooth. Reduce speed. Beat in 1/2 of Brownie mix, vanilla, almond extract and egg with the flour and then add the balance of the brownie mix and mix till thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate the dough for at least 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Roll a tablespoon of dough to make each cookie and place ball about 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cookies will puff and edges will be set; place 1 Hershey Hug on each cookie let cool in the pan 10 min. then place on rack till completely cooled.

These are Justin's favorite cookie. I make them always around the Christmas Holidays. Always would have them made by the time he was out of school for Christmas. They are a tradition that I will also put in my cookie trays for friends and neighbors.
