4 c. sugar
1 large can evaporated milk (not condensed)
1/4 pound butter
12-oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar Marshmallow Fluff
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped walnuts to suit taste

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar, evaporated milk and butter to large sauce pan. Cook to soft ball stage, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, Marshmallow Fluff, vanilla and nuts. Beat by hand until fudge is a thicker consistency. Spoon into dish or platter and refrigerate. Cut into squares before it becomes too solid.

This recipe is from my Grandma Kidwell's hand-written, yellowed sheet of paper. (She passed away in 1970.) She mailed it to me when I was in Chicago. Her note at the bottom of the paper says, "Hope you made it back ok. Will call bank this morning." (was I overdrawn??)
