1/2 loaf of bread, dried or toasted and cubed
3 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. diced celery
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sage
1 c. milk
1 c. broth
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. raisins, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer onions and celery in butter. Mix eggs and milk and set aside. Add all the other ingredients to the cubed bread. Add the egg and milk mixture, as well as the onions and celery, and stir until well blended. Put in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
